Artist Statement
My work as a landscape artist is, fundamentally, my own daily pursuit to bond together the realms of physical observation and emotional introspection. Those enduring landscapes that persist, unyielding, through the tides of change and my own experiences of perseverance amdist challenge. It is through this lens that I invite viewers to not just see but to feel my landscapes - to perceive the subtleties of light and shadow, the interplay of colours, as well as the profound silence or tumult that nature can express. It is in these moments of connection that my art finds its purpose, bridging the gap between the personal and the universal, between the silent stories of nature and the unspoken emotions of the observer.
Experience
An artist with over 5+ years of concentrated practice in portfolio research and development who recently graduated with specialized honours, in Visual Arts and Art History, from the University of Western Ontario acquiring specialized skills in an array of visual-art mediums as well as art history knowledge.
